Capitalware Inc. would like to announce the official release of MQ Visual Edit v1.6.3. This is a FREE upgrade for ALL licensed users of MQ Visual Edit. MQ Visual Edit allows users to view, manipulate and manage messages in a queue of a WebSphere MQ (formally MQSeries) queue manager and presents the data in a simplified format similar to a database utility or spreadsheet program.

    Changes for MQ Visual Edit v1.6.3:

  • Added the hostname and port # to the title bar when connecting to a remote queue manager.
  • Added “Retry to Original Destination” option on the Forward Message window.
  • Added Preference option: “Wrap text in Message Edit window”
  • Added Preference option: “Show line numbers in Message Edit window”
  • Added Undo/Redo feature to the Message Edit window
  • Changed how MQVE handles the data after the dead letter header
  • Fixed a bug in the MQMD PutDate and PutTime column display on Linux
  • Fixed a bug in mqve.sh script for Unix/Linux/Mac OS X
  • On Windows, switched JVM to Excelsior Jet v1.6.0_41
  • Updated docs (English only)
